Who We Help

Chiropractic Care Built Around Your Game

Tenet Chiropractic & Wellness is located right inside the Doylestown Tennis Club, so care for your shoulders, elbows and back is a few steps from the court. If you play tennis or another racquet sport in Doylestown or anywhere in Bucks County, Dr. Vladislav Shvidko offers unhurried, one-on-one care that looks at how you move, not just where it hurts.

This page is for league players, weekend hitters and lifelong players who want to stay on court with fewer aches between matches. You don't need to be a tournament player to get focused, hands-on care.

Why It Keeps Coming Back

Tight Shoulders Aren't Just Part of the Game

Racquet sports load the same areas again and again: overhead serves, fast trunk rotation, quick stops and deep lunges. When a muscle is strained or overworked, your nervous system often holds it tight to protect it. That guarding can linger long after the match, pulling on joints and shortening your swing.

  • Stretching that feels good for an hour, then the tightness is back before your next match
  • Quick adjustments that never address the muscles pulling on your shoulder or back
  • Being told to "just rest," when rest alone doesn't release guarded muscles

How We Help Players

1. Get a clear picture. A movement and posture assessment with range-of-motion testing for your shoulders, spine and hips.

2. Build your custom plan. Chiropractic adjustments plus the level of soft tissue therapy your body needs.

3. Get back on court. With guarded muscles released and joints moving well, you play with guidance to help the results last.

What We Commonly See in Tennis and Racquet Players

  • Shoulder tightness that limits your reach on serves and overheads
  • Forearm and elbow tension from grip pressure and repeated strokes
  • Upper and mid-back stiffness that restricts trunk rotation on groundstrokes
  • Low back tightness after long matches or busy tournament weekends
  • Hip and calf tightness from lunging and quick changes of direction

It depends on how your body responds to treatment. Dr. Shvidko will suggest timing around your match schedule at your first visit.

How much does a visit cost?

New client session $100, follow-up $75. Soft tissue add-ons: IASTM $30, cupping $40, NIMMOCARE® $50. We accept cash and card and do not bill insurance.

“Best chiropractic sessions I have ever had! Amazing results in such a short time. Couldn’t believe that my head can turn so much and how much my range of motion improved in shoulders and back.”
